[Crosswalk.com] February 2, 2006--Republican lawmakers, armed with the results of a new study, Wednesday urged Congress to suspend the availability of the abortion drug, RU-486, calling it a "baby pesticide" that is harmful to women. An abortion rights activist questioned the motives of the lawmakers, insisting that the GOP congressmen are more interested with making all abortions illegal than with the health of women.
