SENTENCES

INTRODUCTORY SENTENCES

These sentences may be used at Morning or Evening Prayer, in the Alternative Forms of Morning and Evening Worship, or at The Holy Communion, on any day during the seasons or on the occasions indicated. Other sentences will be found on pages 18-20 and 32-34.

General

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near. Isaiah 55: 6

Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 124: 8

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Galatians 5:25

From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! Psalm 113: 3
