Does Our Church Planting Strategy Include Dying?


Andy Prime is one of our new men in training to plant a church in Gracemount, a scheme in Edinburgh. From time to time he (and others) will be writing on the blog about their struggles and joys as they seek to establish a ministry in the schemes. We hope the perspective of a cultural outsider (somebody not from a scheme) will encourage those who are thinking about this kind of ministry (but wonder if it is for them). Read more
The early Celtic monks spoke of what they called their "place of resurrection," the place to which the Holy Spirit would lead them--to spread the gospel, to start a new Christian community, to live out their days in self-imposed exile from kin, tribe, and homeland, and perhaps even to die a martyr's death, all for the glory of God.
