[WAVY.com] February 2, 2005--Virginia's religious leaders today lambasted a bill that affects how property is split up when congregations secede from a church or diocese.
Senate Bill 1305 -- sponsored by Senator Robert Mims -- would give congregations that break away from their denomination leverage to retain control of church property.
