[Crosswalk.com] April 7, 2005--Kansans voted overwhelmingly Tuesday (April 5) to amend their state constitution with a ban on same-sex marriage and civil unions. The newly adopted measure reaffirms Kansas' long-standing policy of only recognizing unions between a man and a woman, exclusively, as marriage.
