[Baptist Press News] April 8, 2005--In 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade that a woman has a “right” to an abortion. In so doing it set the stage for a scenario in which the government could force an abortion to be provided for a woman. When the justices “discovered” (or invented) the “right” of a woman to terminate her pregnancy, they likely imagined that abortion doctors always would be available. But what happens if doctors no longer perform abortions?
