[Belfast Telegraph] May 16, 2005--I was amazed that the Archbishop of Canterbury should be so eager to invite the new Pope to visit England.
One would have thought that he might have waited for Pope Benedict to have accepted the invitation of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Westminster and then to express his willingness to meet him in his own cathedral at Canterbury.
