We follow God, not vice versa

[nwitimes.com] May 4, 2005--The liberal media and some Catholics' complaint of the new pope being "ultraconservative" missed the point. The job of the church is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and uphold the truths of the Bible. We are called to follow God, not vice versa. The church cannot alter its teachings to conform to ever-changing popular opinion.
