[VirtueOnline] October 2, 2005--The rector of the 2,000-strong evangelical St. John's Episcopal Church, one of the largest parishes in the Episcopal Church and the mother church of the Diocese of Florida, announced at the 9am service Sunday that he was resigning from the church, the diocese and the Episcopal Church.
