[Anglican Mission in America] October 28, 2005--Geneva Global, a Christian philanthropic organization based in Pennsylvania, has initiated a water project in Rwanda to alleviate the effects of a severe drought and aid thousands of people. The $46,500 grant is targeting Nyamata in Bugesera Province, by establishing a project to provide water in a region of over 200,000 Rwandans. The initiative, carried out under the Episcopal Church of Rwanda and Archbishop Emmanuel Kolini, is the first of what will be several projects in the region that could ultimately impact the 800,000 residents of Bugesera Province.
