Priests prepare to register their civil partnerships

[Church Times] December 9, 2005--The Revd David Page, Vicar of St Barnabas’s, Clapham Common, in south London, is to enter into a civil partnership next month with his partner of 30 years, a retired teacher and priest. When he put on record his intention at the local register office this week, he said, "the sky did not fall in", nor did he feel he was making a political statement.
