[VirtueOnline] March 9, 2006--For the local church to be known by what it denies as well as by what it affirms does not mean that the two complementary statements are equal in status. Obviously, the affirmation and the positive proclamation is primary; but yet it is only fully seen to be primary when the negative proclamation is also made. The full context communicates the truth.
