India: Anti-Conversion Bill Passed, Christians fear increased persecution

[The Evangelical Fellowship of Cnada] April 13, 2006--The state assembly of the north-western Indian state of Rajasthan passed an anti-conversion law on April 7, 2006, following debates and the approval of the principle of the bill on March 24. Once the government has finalized an operational framework, the new law will be implemented.
