Are You Deceived?

[Stand Firm] 16 Sep 2008--God said that child sacrifice is an abomination to him and He hates it. The Israelites were sacrificing their babies to false gods and God hated this practice. We, too, are sacrificing our babies, but not to the false god Moloch. Today we sacrifice our babies on the altar of convenience, to the false god of convenience (93% of all abortions are for convenience).

Saying that the timing is not right, we don’t have the money, it’s not the right sex, I’m too young, I’m too old, are all excuses laid not at the foot of the Cross of Jesus Christ but on the altar of convenience. It’s not just the pregnant women that worship at this altar, 64% of those who abort feel pressured to do so and sometimes with violence. Abortion is an act of replacing trust in God with trust in ourselves. It’s doing what we think is right based on our emotions and bad advice and not on God’s Word. The world tells us to abort our babies for a quick fix. Do you really want to follow the world? Then you’re following the ruler of this world, Satan.

Did God really say? Yes, God really said we should not commit murder. He really said child sacrifice is an abomination. He really said we have two choices before us: blessings or curses, life or death. He really said to Choose Life so that we may live. He really said that he knit every baby by hand. He really said He ordained for us a purpose before we were even in the womb. He really said He did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. He really said we should not shed innocent blood.

Anything contrary to God’s will is from Satan. Abortion is evil and from Satan. It causes death for the baby and pain and suffering for the women and men who are deceived into having an abortion. Plainly, judging by its fruit, it is evil.
