[Religious Intelligence] 9 Dec 2008--A Christian counsellor in Bristol, England, has been sacked after refusing to advise gay couples on their sex lives.

Gary McFarlane, a solicitor and former church elder, is now claiming unfair dismissal, discrimination and harassment as a result of his religion.

He told his manager at Relate that the Bible said homosexual activity was wrong and therefore he could not carry out psycho-sexual therapy (PST).
