One visit that tremendously blessed and impacted all of us was a visit to an Anglican Deaf School in Cairo.
This was a boarding school just for deaf children, but they also planted a church on campus so the deaf children can be blessed as they worship God on Sundays. It was inspiring for us to join them Jan. 9 for worship.
To see children praise God in sign language and have them interact in a church service that was geared toward them was an amazing experience to be part of.
After worship, we took a tour of the school's facilities and watched as the children were learning in their classrooms.
As we visited the classrooms, one young Armenian student, probably 8 or 9 years old, was asked by the Anglican priest in front of all of us, "Where is Jesus?" The boy responded in sign language, "Jesus is in my heart." And then the priest asked, "What will you do with Him when you go home from school?" The boy without hesitation responded again in sign language, "Share Him."
