Scout builds meditation area at church for Eagle project

Scout Law states that a Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.

It was the last instruction that was the first thing on Jake Daum's mind when the Eagle Scout candidate envisioned his required community service project.

Jake, 15, planned an outdoor meditation area, including a 17-foot-tall cross and three sturdy benches, at Christ the King Anglican Church, where his family attends services. Keep reading
