#12 really caught my attention: "51 PERCENT OF CHURCHGOERS SAY THEY’VE NEVER HEARD OF THE GREAT COMMISSION." That is a very disturbing statistic. While I do not have any statistics showing the percentage of churchgoers, some churchgoers also would prefer that preachers talked about something else. As one church leader told me, they want to come to church, quietly worship, and then go home. They do not like the preacher making them uncomfortable with talk about inviting friends, neighbors, and relatives to church, much less talking with strangers about Jesus.Photo by Matin Sattler on Unsplash
