Ed Stetzer: The Atonement and the Blood: Leviticus 17 by Dr. Stephen Um

Dr. Stephen Um elaborates on Leviticus 17 to kick off a new blog series on the atonement.

Over the course of the next couple of months, we're going to run a series of blog posts on the atonement. A number of thought-leaders on the subject will share a bit from their studies on the scarlet thread that runs through the entirety of the Scriptures.

I am the General Editor of The Gospel Project, and this spring The Gospel Project is focusing its study on the matter of the atonement throughout the Scriptures. The first installment of our series on the atonement comes from Dr. Stephen Um. Dr. Um is the Senior Minister at Citylife Presbyterian Church in Boston and a professor of New Testament studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the author of Why Cities Matter and The Theme of Temple Christology in John's Gospel.

This week, Dr. Um shares his thoughts on Leviticus 17 and its relationship to the atonement. Keep reading
