Over the course of the next couple of months, we're going to run a series of blog posts on the atonement. A number of thought-leaders on the subject will share a bit from their studies on the scarlet thread that runs through the entirety of the Scriptures.

Dr. Um is the Senior Minister at Citylife Presbyterian Church in Boston and a professor of New Testament studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the author of Why Cities Matter and The Theme of Temple Christology in John's Gospel.
