[The Living Church] December 4, 2005--Several years ago, an article appeared in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune about the stubborn Lake Street Bridge. The bridge had stood and carried traffic in Minneapolis over the Mississippi River for more than 100 years. Then the authorities decided that a new bridge was called for and so a new one was built right next to it.
