Archbishop Greg Venables Of Southern Cone Visits Masindi-Kitara Diocese

[Anglican Mainstream] February 13, 2006--Masindi-Kitara Diocese which is the youngest in the Church of the Province of Uganda has had the blessing of hosting Archbishop Greg Venables of the Southern Cone (South America) for three days. The Archbishop was accompanied to Masindi by the Rev. Dr. Bill Atwood, who is the General Secretary of Ekklesia and the Rev. Johnson Ebong, the Provincial Mission and evangelism coordinator . Archbishop Greg is a personal friend of our Archbishop, the Most Rev. Henry Luke Orombi who invited him as the guest of the Province. He was given the chance to visit a rural diocese outside Kampala. He is also visiting Murchison Falls National Park to see the wonders of God's creation.
