[Independent.ie] 10 Oct 2007--The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, was in Dublin yesterday for private talks with fellow bishops of the Church of Ireland and Lutheran leaders from the Baltic and Nordic states.

But if the leader of the worldwide Anglican Communion took the opportunity to discuss with his Irish colleagues ways of breaking the impasse among member churches over the ordination of homosexual bishops, he was not letting on to the media.
