ISIS managed to shoot down an F-16 fighter jet, a jet that was part of the US led coalition against them. The US-made fighter jet went down in the area of Raqqa in Syria and the Jordanian pilot has been captured by celebrating ISIS forces. The pictures do not look good.

ISIS is essentially a parasitic organism. It fights with weapons and ammunition manufactured in the world's leading industrial nations and exploits technology, including the Internet, also created by these nations. What it seeks to do is not just enslave the women in the parts of Iraq and Syria that it has conquered but entire population with its fighters as a privileged class living off the toil of this slave population and the "spoils of war" that it has pillaged in its conquests. ISIS is making no positive contribution to human civilization. Rather it is adding to human misery.
