A crowded sanctuary does not prove a church is healthy. Neither does polished worship, a gifted preacher or a full ministry calendar.
The clearest signs of a healthy church are found below the surface. They show up in how leaders handle authority, how people treat one another, what gets preached and whether ordinary Christians are being equipped to follow Jesus outside the building.
