[Catholic World News] 19 Dec 2007--New religious violence caused at least 10 deaths in Nigeria last week, Vatican Radio reports.
The latest clashes in northern Nigeria apparently began when a group of Muslim youths attacked another group of Christians. The confrontation occurred in a region where similar religious conflicts have flared up in recent months. Dozens of homes belonging to Christian families, and three Pentecostal churches, were reportedly destroyed before order was restored.
