Bishop who led church split expects repercussion, expects support

[Eye Out for You] 13 Feb 2008--Speaking in Bakersfield for the first time since he led the Diocese of San Joaquin to split from the Episcopal Church, Bishop JohnDavid Schofield of Fresno spoke at St. Luke's Anglican Church where he asked parishioners for their support. And Schofield says he expects repercussions for his actions from the Episcopal Church.

"No one has indicated to me what my infraction is. If I am supposed to repent or recant, I need to know what I'm supposed to repent on," saidSchofield.
