[The Living Church] 13 Feb 2008--Members of Executive Council and senior staff from the Episcopal Church Center were welcomed to Quito, Ecuador, Feb. 11 by the Rt. Rev. Wilfredo Ramos-Orench, provisional Bishop of Central Ecuador. Council, which oversees the work of General Convention when it is not in session, typically meets three times each year in a different location.
The Diocese of Central Ecuador, along with six other international dioceses, is part of Province 9 of The Episcopal Church.
