South Korean choir to hold concert at St Thomas’ Cathedral


The Mothers’ Union Choir from Seoul, South Korea will hold a concert at St Thomas’ Cathedral, McDougall Road on Monday (Oct 3).

Choristers and music enthusiasts are encouraged to attend the free concert, which will begin at 7.30pm.

The 35-strong choir conducted by Professor Gabriel IH Cho will present pieces such as ‘Serve The Lord With Gladness’ by George Frideric Handel, ‘Wir Eilen Mit Schwachen’ from the Cantata ‘Jesu, Der Du Meine Seele’ by Johann Sebastian Bach, and the Korean folk song ‘Arirang’.
