All Hallows Evening Prayer is a service of worship in the evening for all pilgrims on the journey to the heavenly city.
Does prayer for our loved ones who have departed this life serve any purpose? If so, what? The Scripture readings for this Wednesday are Lamentations 3:17-26; 31-33, Hope in the Lord’s Faithfulness, and John 6: 37-40, Jesus, the Bread of Life.
