[Stand Firm] 12 April 2007--Stacy Sauls made a presentation to the bishops concerning their legal options combating property disputes and one option that was discussed was using RICO against the "conspirators." RICO! As in against gangsters and the Mafia. As in personal, punitive damages against individuals for their participation in a "criminal enterprise."

I was reluctant to post this article since it does not name names. I think that we should know the identity of the bishop in question and the diocese that he oversees. This would give more credibility to the story and give the people of the diocese a better picture of the kind of person who serves their diocese as bishop.
