To some people, small churches may look frail, weak and out of touch, but no matter what happens, we keep coming back up.

Small churches can be extremely resilent. They can also kill themselves. One way that can kill themselves is by becoming too inward-looking, catering to the preferences of the  members, and having negligible connections to the community in which they are located. I was for several years involved in one such church which has now disbanded and sold its building. If your small church exhbits these characteristics its days may be numbered.
