Welcome to Thursday evenings at All Hallows.
This Thursday is Ascension Day, a special day in the liturgical calendar, which commemorates three very important events in the history of salvation. After the risen Jesus gave his final instructions to his disciples and promised to be with them always, he ascended into heaven. The instructions he gave and the promise he made were not just for them alone but for future generations of his disciples until his coming again in glory.
In this evening’s message we will consider the implications of his instructions and his promise for his present-day followers.
