Today--Friday, May 13, 2011--is the deadline for submiting your comments on the proposed changes in the constitution and canons of the Anglican Church in North America and the proposed resolution on the duties of the officers of the ACNA. If you have not read my articles, "The ACNA Governance Task Force and Executive Committee Propose Changes to Provincial Constitution and Canons," "Proposed Resolution Defines Duties of ACNA Offiers," and "The Archbishop's Cabinet, I urge you to do so. The first two articles evaluate these proposals. The third article raises questions regarding whether a body for which the ACNA governing documents make no provision and for which there are no accountability mechanisms should be making decisions affecting the whole Church.

The deadline has come and passed. All that was necessary for evil to triumph was for good men to do nothing.
