All Hallows Evening Prayer is a service of worship in the evening for all pilgrims on the journey to the heavenly city.
We cannot see the wind. We can see the clouds scudding across the sky. We can the limb of a tree bowing and bending in the wind. We can hear the rustle o the leaves as the wind blows through them. We can see the dust that the wind whips up off the ground. But we cannot see the wind itself. It is the same with the Holy Spirit. We can see what he does. But we cannot see him.
The Scripture reading for this Saturday evening is Acts 8: 14-17 God confirms Samaria’s acceptance of the Gospel.
The homily is titled “At the Time of His Own Choosing”
