All Hallows Evening Prayer is a service of worship in the evening for all pilgrims on the journey to the heavenly city.
On the Feast of Pentecost we celebrate not only the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon those present in the upper room but also the birth of the Church which that event heralded. Energized by the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus’ disciples would spread the gospel throughout the ancient Mediterranean world and beyond.
The Scripture reading for this Sunday evening is Romans 8: 18-30 Future Glory
