There is a lot of confusion in this culture today over gender and sexual identity issues. There is a lot of head scratching in the church, as well. But God’s Word brings clarity where the world and religion often brings a fog.
So how do we help our teenagers deal with LGBTQ issues (stands for “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning”). How do we help them navigate their own identity issues, as well as those of their peers? How do we do it in a way that strikes that balance between conviction and compassion? NOT MUCH HELP TO PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY IDENTIFY AS LGBT OR Q. God's compassion and love is greater than the Law. (See the parable of the Pharisee & Publican, or of 'the woman caught in the act of adultery, where Jesus said "Who among you has not sinned, let him cast the first stone?) We are ALL Sinners. Only God is righteous. Let's be honest about that, and thank God that GOD STILL LOVES US: "While we are yet sinners, Christ died for us'!
