Like Eric Geiger I see definite benefits to streaming church services online.
At the same time I recognize that we may need to tweak our church services for our online congregation. A number of things that we are accustomed to doing in our church services do not translate well to online. Services and sermons are too long; the choreography and flow of the service, poor; and videocamera operators would benefit from a course or two in videophotography.
Eric Geiger's suggestions for getting the most out of a livestreamed church service also work for an in-person service.
