All Hallows Evening Prayer is a service of worship in the evening for all pilgrims on the journey to the heavenly city.
Jesus did not hide from would-be disciples that there was a cost to following him. He urged them to weigh that cost before they began to follow him.
The Scripture reading for this Sunday is Luke 14:25-33 The Cost of Being a Disciple.
