Sundays at All Hallows (Sunday, August 11, 2024) Is Now Online

Welcome to Sundays at All Hallows.

Jesus taught his disciples to love even their enemies. He did not urge them to hate the Pharisees and teachers of the religious law who criticized him and rejected him, only not to follow their example. Rather he encouraged his disciples to do good to their enemies, to pray for them, and to ask God’s blessing on them. Jesus restrained James and John when they would have asked God to send down fire from heaven and burn up a Samaritan village that did not welcome Jesus and his disciples.

In this Sunday’s message we look at the instructions the apostle Paul gave to the church at Ephesus on how live as followers of Jesus and to treat others.

Readings: Leviticus 19: 1-37; Ephesians 4:25-5:2

Message: True Witnesses to the Risen Christ
